Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, Japan

So, I woke up this morning, and I felt like I needed to go out to do some exploring...so this is what took place...

The MEIJI SHRINE is one of Tokyo's biggest and best-known Shinto shrines. The memorial was established November 1, 1920 to honor the Emperor Meiji, who, with Empress Shoken, ruled Japan from 1886 - 1912.

I would love to visit Japan someday and see the shrines...they just look neat.
