30 Day Challenge: Day 15, A Person you admire

Hmmm...I've been thinking about this one for a couple of days now...since I got behind on these while my ship was underway.

I could talk about my parents, because out of all the people I admire, I definitely admire them the most. But I figured that would be kind of predictable. Most people talk about their parents on this day...so I wanted to write about someone different.

I admire my aunt Terri. She is an amazing woman. I'm not sure how many years ago, but a while back they had a flood in their area that completely destroyed everything on the first floor of their house. She rebuilt and remodeled her house while raising her kids. She had three biological kids, and 5 adopted kids, and she's doing and has done an amazing job raising them. Not only all that, but she has an amazing faith in God. She's also been separated from my Uncle for quite a few years, and again still manages to raise 5 kids who are still at home. She would credit her ability to do all of this to God. I thank the Lord for my Aunt Terri, and I pray for her often.

Here's a picture of me with her and my cousin DJ (the one with the black hat, and white sunglasses), and 4 of her adopted kids (also my cousins of course):
