30 Day Challenge: Day 24, A movie no one would expect you to love

Alright, so I guess not necessarily everyone would not expect me to like this movie. I know my sister and my mom know I love this movie. But not a lot of my friends know I do.

This movie came out in 1940. I first saw it on TCM, back when my family had cable. I like this movie so much, primarily because of Irene Dunne...she makes this movie with her sarcastic comments, and the unexpected things she says.

Also just the whole premise of the story, is at some points even heartbreaking, and it pulls you in.

I actually just bought this movie on Amazon. I should be coming within the next couple of weeks.

Anyways...I definitely recommend this movie to anyone. It's filled with good clean humor, that can only be found in movies of it's era.
Here are some quotes for this movie:

Ellen Wagstaff Arden aka Eve: Oh, by the way, how was my funeral?

Ma: Lovely. Doctor Blake preached a wonderful service.

Ellen Wagstaff Arden aka Eve: Oh, I wish I had been there.

Nick Arden: Impulsive? He's full of carrots!

Nick Arden: [discussing how to tell Tim and Chinch that Ellen is their mother] Would it help if I wrote them a letter?
Ellen Wagstaff Arden aka Eve: Oh, that would be nice, yes. 'Enclosed, please find your mother.'

Judge Walter Bryson: I'd like to get home and tell my wife about this. She thinks all my cases are boring.

I need to watch this now! I can't believe I have seen this one, I love movies from that era. One of my favorites would have to be My Man Godfrey from I think the 1930s. It's hilarious.
