Latest Musings...

So as many of you probably know, I am now on terminal leave. I've been home for almost two weeks now. It feels to good to finally be home! Last Friday night I had a bonfire with all my old High School friends. I had a blast! Some of them I hadn't seen since I graduated 4 years ago. It's so hard to believe It's been that long since I how time flies!

Registration starts at Northland on August's going to be a 12 hour drive, so I'll probably have to leave the night before, and I'm probably going to have to stay in a hotel in Chicago. Lord willing I'll be able to get a job this summer...but even if I don't, I'm still going to be paid by the military till the 4th of August.

Oh, I also have a few prayer requests. First of all, my sister(Sara) and her husband moved to Hornell, NY yesterday. So if you could be praying that they would settle in up there, and find a house. Also my brother(Caleb) got engaged on Saturday, so if you could be praying for them as they will probably be starting to make plans for the wedding pretty soon. And finally, I've had some moles on my back that I got from some bad sunburns in the last few years, and one of them looks kind of "questionable." So, probably within the next week, or sometime this summer, I'll be going to the doctor to get it checked out. I'll still have insurance through the military till August 4th, so I need to go to the doctor before then. So please be praying about that!

I trust all is well with all my followers!

Abba Father

by: Ron Hamilton

Father, hold me safe in Your arms;
Father, keep me free from all harm.
I cast my care on You
Just like a child should do--
Trusting, loving all that You are.

Abba, Father,
I rest in You;
You're always faithful,
You're always true.
Abba, Father,
You are my song
Though clouds are dark,
Though night is long.
I cry to you,
Abba, Father

Father, help me lean on You more
Through each valley, through every storm.
Help me when I can't see
Your will is best for me;
Love me, hold me sheltered & warm.

Father, mold me, make me like new.
Guide my footsteps, keep my heart true--
So that the world may see
Your likeness lives in me.
Break me, shape me, make me like You.
